A suspected drunk driver slammed into the yard of a Vallejo home Saturday evening, sending a wheel careening into the front window of a 1940s bungalow on Springs Road.

The truck crashed into several large landscaping rocks sometime after 10:00 p.m., halting its momentum. The driver fled the scene before officers arrived, according to scanner traffic and a passenger who stated he had been out drinking with the driver. The passenger said he hit his head in the collision but declined medical attention.

Vallejo police spokesperson Sgt. Rashad Hollis was unable to confirm whether any arrests had been made in connection with the incident.
