A powerful storm system swept through Vallejo on Saturday, downing trees and power lines and leaving large swaths of the city without electricity.

The outages began shortly before 7 a.m. PG&E is tracking dozens of outages affecting 9,660 customers in the city, according to the utility company, which did not provide an estimate as to when service will be restored. Portions of west, central and south Vallejo are currently without power.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch as the storm continues to move through the region.
