One source, a neighbor of the victim, commented on the arrest in response to a social media post about the incident by this newsroom. A law enforcement source with knowledge of the matter confirmed the arrest on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the ongoing investigation. Vallejo police spokesperson Sgt. Rashad Hollis was not immediately available for comment.
